LIQUA TAN TANNING KIT
The industry's leading tan is now available in a kit. Fast penetrating and easy to use, this kit comes with complete instructions. It contains: 1 pt. Liqua Tan, 1 pt. Tanning Oil #1 (for softening), and 1 lb. of citric acid. You will need to purchase your own salt and baking soda. This kit will tan 2-3 deer capes or 2 back skins, depending on size. You can use Liqua Tan to tan anything from Antelope to Zebra skins.

PARA TAN TANNING KIT
The same great product that many tanneries are using is now available in kit form. The Para Tan kit provides enough product to fully tan 16 lbs. of shaved, drained skins, or approximately 3 deer capes or 2 back skins. This tan works great on either North American or African animals. It provides great stretch, a nice soft white skin, and can be used for taxidermy or rugs. The Para Tan kit can be used for both hair on and hair off tanning and comes with complete, easy to use instructions.

DRUMMING DEODORIZER
A new Knobloch product available to the taxidermy industry. This is a very good way to clean and to put a nice polish to the hair and fur in the drum. To each 55 lb of sawdust add 1cup Drumming Deodorizer and 1 cup water. It can also be used to help soften and break the hide while drumming. Nice, pleasant odor.

ACID BATE
An option in bating; with this product you can bate a skin while in a mild acid pickle solution. Bating is a way to get skins more evenly tanned, and broken down to a more pliable leather. Run in a pickle with a pH of 2.7 to 3.0. for most effectiveness. Use approximately 2-3 oz for every 5 lbs of skins.

BATE
A very effective way to help break down the structure of a skin, fo better softness, stretch, and rehydration.  Use prior to acid pickling in your process, for 2 to 4 hours depending on thickness of skin, then run in acid pickle to kill the bating process.  This process will also allow you to get a more evenly tanned skin and will reduce hard spots.  Use approximately 2 to 3 oz per gallon of water.

SAFETY SOLVENT
A Safety Solvent that can be added to the fur drum to help clean and add shine to the hair or fur.
